- I am a 23 year old student trying to escape the clutches of Portland State University. I am studying Physical Activity and Exercise officially, while I like to consider myself a closet historian as well. I currently work for Nike (could change at any second), but my real job is as a volunteer leader for David Douglas Younglife. I also am honing my skills for a future NBA career as a volunteer coach at David Douglas High School. I enjoy shoes, music, good beer (Ninkasi get at me!), and friends. Portland will never shake my adoration
An interesting set of events...Heidi and I were walking through campus today and Edgar Allen Poe rose in the conversation. We were on our way to the bookstore to buy new supplies when on the clearance table rose an Edgar Allen Poe action figure. While discovering this simple and fresh new blog you've created, I scrolled to the bottom and who rose but Edgar Allen Poe in the window titled, "This Day in History". Now you know where the Edgar Allen Poe museum is...right? Yes, Philadelphia...babay. Synchronicity. Cant wait for this weekend. Nice blog. Glad I found it. Peace.
